Happy Wednesday loves! Summer is here and the ocean breeze and sunshine has been brightening up my days lately. I’ve also been savoring some sweet finds at Trader Joe’s recently – and here are some favorites from this week’s #WhatsInYourBasket. Enjoy! x
1. Oolong Tea
This tea has become a staple in my fridge lately. Chilled or poured over ice it is ABSOLUTELY refreshing and a guilt free delicious treat. I love buying a stash and grabbing them for my meal prep or with my premade tupperware for a busy day of work!
2. Purple Carrot Juice
The consensus is YESSS. It sounds intense – but it is a dreammmmm! Especially mixed into a smoothie bowl. The flavor is potent – I don’t think I would drink on it’s own…but it added the perfect dose of purple and carrot to my morning smoothie routine.
3. Organic Blue Agave Sweetener
This has become a baking staple. I am always searching for ways to eliminate sugar from my meals – and this agave sweetener is a nice alternative. I’ve used it recently in my banana bread muffins and also like drizzling it over a smoothie bowl with granola – or on top of protein pancakes.
4. Cauliflower Florets
THESE. I could eat them every single day for dinner. Simply place on a baking sheet – season with your faves (in my case – turmeric, garlic, Himalayan salt and a dash of lemon pepper), cook for 20 minutes and ta da! You have the most DELICIOUS side for your evening meal!
5. Sprouted Organic Tofu
This has been such a fun find! I eat chicken constantly and so often times look for alternative ways to incorporate protein or to switch up my meal game! The sprouted tofu has been a fun surprise and I typically cook the same way I do chicken – season with my favorites and serve with quinoa, grilled veggies or a scoop of hummus.
